Driving Directions:From Atlanta: Take I-85 North to I-985. I-985 will turn into US 23. Continue on US 23 to Sylva, NC. Next take US 74 West to Bryson City. (approximately 150 miles) From Knoxville: Take US 441 South through the Great Smoky Mountains, passing by Cherokee, NC to Bryson City. (approximately 87 miles) From Asheville: I-40 West to Clyde, NC. Then follow US 23 to Sylva, NC. Continue on US 74 to Bryson City. (approximately 60 miles) From Chattanooga: Take I-75 North to Cleveland, TN. Then follow SR 40 to US 74. US 74 will take you right into Bryson City. (approximately 140 miles)
